Wests Tigers half-back Luke Brooks will miss up to five weeks after suffering a knee injury in the win over the Parramatta Eels.

Brooks, 21, tore the posterior cruciate ligament in his left knee during the Tigers' 23-8 win on Saturday.

The Tigers said they expected Brooks "to miss between three and five weeks" due to the injury.

Brooks is set to return in the final rounds of the NRL season, with the Tigers 10th as they look to earn a finals spot.
