MUSIGA’s Ebony tribute song backfires

The song, titled “Nana Hemaa” features Adina, MzVee, Efya, Freda Rhymz, eShun, Feli Nuna and Adomaa.

Since the release of the song, some Ghanaians have expressed anger about the posthumous collaboration and how musicians are treated differently after their death.

Immediately the official music video for the song was uploaded to the Ebony Reigns’ YouTube channel, some Ghanaians went straight to jabbed MUSIGA and the musicians featured in the song.

“Fake love,” YouTube user Musah Fulera commented.

Oteng Samuel wrote: “Pretenders. She calls out to you girls to do a track together but you people all refuse”.

“God will punish you all. When she was alive she wanted to do music with you all. But you girls refused. Now that she has gone, you all have the nerves, the gall to do collab in her name? Fools. Evil souls. Hypocrites. God will judge you one by one. Nonsense. Shite am mad as hell.

I have not been able to listen to any of her songs since the day she died. I just can’t listen to her song knowing that the girl and voice i love so much is gone. Smh,” African Goddess stated.

“In one of Ebony chat she said she asked these people to do a song for girls power they said NO!!!!  Now they do it without her?? These people have no shame,” Majecy Tocktock said.

Octavia Cryer wrote “We love and adore the dead more than the living,,, I only wish she had this much love when she was alive..Ohemaa was Ohemaa the queen...a game changer..She started a movement,, the badgal movement and it shall reign cause she was a legend..Nana Hemaa Dwe ni amane hunu..Maame dayie.”
