Answering a tweep's question in regards to his ancestral home, Wale shocking claimed to be from Ghana.

American rapper Olubowale Victor Akintimehin, better known by his stage name Wale, has finally divulged his ancestral home.

According to the 32-year-old Hip-hop artiste who rose to prominence in 2006 with his hit song "Dig Dug", his ancestral home is Ghana.
The BET Award-winning artiste made the revelation on Twitter Friday, July 14.
One Twitter user asked Wale a question in regards to his ancestral home: "@Wale yo where u from Ghana or Nigeria?"
And surprisingly, he quoted the tweet with a straight answer: "Ghana".

Even though Wale's ancestral background on his Wikipedia profile claims his parents were from the Yoruba ethnic group of the southwestern Nigeria, it's uncertain if he meant what he said.
Wale is yet to give more details about his ancestral home.
