Promotion Airtel Ghana extends “Wo Mmere Nie” recharge promotion to reward millions of customers

Airtel Ghana, the Smartphone Network has announced an extension in its groundbreaking Wo Mmere Nie promotion to further reward millions of customers.

The promotion Airtel “Wo Mmere Nie” is being extended for an additional 30 days with the introduction of amazing prizes including daily cash prizes of GHC 1,000 each for two customers who accumulate the highest points at the end of each day for the next 30 days effective 08 May 2017.

The company also announced an increase in the weekly cash prize from GHC 10,000 to GHC 15,000.

Launched in February 2017, Airtel Ghana has rewarded over 2.5million customers, who recharge with GHC 2 and above, with Smartphones, data bundles and free on-net minutes alongside weekly and monthly cash prizes of over GHC180, 000.

The introduction of the daily cash prizes will add to existing prizes on offer – further enriching the lives of Airtel customers and empowering them to pursue their dreams.

Making the announcement, Rosy Fynn, Marketing Director at Airtel Ghana said “by popular request, we are extending the duration of Ghana’s biggest and most rewarding recharge promotion – Wo Mmere Nie – to enable more Airtel customers participate and win.

As a business, we are relentless in our quest to reward and respond to the needs of our customers. We know our customers have bold ambitions and aspirations and we identify with these hence the launch of Wo Mmere Nie to empower them to realise their aspirations this year.

She continued “Wo Mmere Nie has seen an overwhelming endorsement by Ghanaians across the country and our customers have been emphatic in their call for an extension to the promotion – so they can continue winning the amazing prizes on offer. We have heard them and in response, we are extending the promo for an additional 30 days.

We have also introduced more excitement. Effective 08 May, we are giving out GHC 2,000 every day to two customers who accumulate the highest points at the end of the day. In addition to that, we have ramped-up the weekly cash prize to reward our customers for their loyalty.  Wo Mmere Nie has proven to be the biggest recharge promotion in Ghana with more than 2.5 million customers rewarded till date and many more to come within the next one month”.

At the end of the promo in June, one customer will walk away with the ultimate cash prize of  GHC 150,000 with the first and second runners-up bagging GHC 100,000 and GHC 75,000 respectively.

The promo is opened to all Airtel prepaid customer who recharge with GHC 2 and above.

Revamped Daily and weekly Cash prizes

Two customers with the highest points at the end of each day will now receive a cash price of GHC 2000. 

The customer with the highest accumulated points at the end of each week will receive a cash prize of GHC15, 000
