TheSMILE official launch event which is set for the 12 May 2016 at Movenpick Ambassador Hotel will be attended by special invited guests from the Clergy, Merchants on the service, select customers, media, executives from HODA and uniBank executives and staff.

uniBank’s SMILE offers customers and non–customersgreater flexibility, fastand convenientaccess to their accounts and transactions from ANYWHERE right from their mobile phone or tablet.

The innovative feature of SMILE Mobile Banking is the fact that it works without internet access or mobile airtime and can be used on any mobile phone, smart or not. It also offersthe ability to receive SMS alerts on every activity or transactionwhich provides enhanced security.

SMILE, the user-friendly, extremely convenient andfastmobile banking offers servicessuch as:

  • Checking account balance and viewing a mini statement of the last FIVE transactions:
  • Transfer funds from bank account to other uniBank accounts
  • Transfer funds from a uniBank account to any mobile money wallet without a mobile money agent
  • Transfer funds from mobile money wallet to uniBank account  without a mobile money agent
  • Pay for merchant services like utility bills, school fees and airline/bus tickets
  • Form a group to make contributions and raise funds towards a projectBuy airtime even when your credit is completely exhausted.

Unlike many other mobile banking platforms, the SMILE service is available on any mobile device and not limited to only smart phones.
