Green Sahara Staff of NGO in Upper West Region shot dead

Reports say that the deceased was shot dead while talking to his wife on the phone between Tarsor and Bugbelle Tuesday evening.

Some suspected robbers have shot dead a staff of Green Sahara, a Nongovernmental Organization in Tumu in the Upper West region.

Reports say that the deceased was shot dead while talking to his wife on the phone between Tarsor and Bugbelle Tuesday evening.

The District Police Commander ASP Stephen Abanga has since confirmed the incident to Accra-based Starr FM.

He said that he received the news about the death of the worker at about 3 am.

Investigations have, however, commenced into the incident.
