4-year-old boy sodomised, police accused of altering medical report

The little boy was allegedly abused at Adjiringanor in Accra, but her mother is accusing the police of East Legon of conniving with the suspect to deny her son justice.

The East Legon police have been accused by mother of 4-year-old sodomised boy of receiving a bribe of GH₵15,000 to doctor the medical report that certified that her son had been raped.

The little boy was allegedly abused by a man only named as Anokye at Adjiriganor in Accra.

Speaking on Accra-based Adom FM, Madam Abena Twewaah said the suspect was granted bail just a day after he was arrested in relation to the alleged offence, and is enjoying his full freedom.

She further alleged that a family member of the suspect had told her that, they had bribed the police to alter the medical report.

“I gave the medical report to the police at East Legon after the doctor certified that indeed my son had been sodomized” said the helpless mother who is now calling for state intervention to get justice for her son.
