Kwesi Appiah drops Ayew brothers from Ghana squad?

West Ham United star, Andre ‘Dede’ Ayew and his brother Jordan Pierre Ayew of Swansea City, have been dropped from Ghana’s squad to face Uganda in the FIFA 2018 World Cup Qualifier in October, SportsObama.com can confirm.

The Ayews are conspicuously missing from the yet to be announced squad that will play Saudi Arabia in an international friendly on October 4, ahead of their 2018 World Cup qualifier against Uganda Cranes in the penultimate match of the 2018 World Cup qualifiers.

The duo, who missed Ghana’s last World Cup qualifier against Congo in Brazzaville, have been excluded by coach Kwesi Appiah for the upcoming match in Kampala as he seeks to give some newcomers the opportunity.

Andre Ayew complained of injury, and subsequently pulled out of the Ghana team for that Congo game with few days to enplane to Brazzaville, whiles his younger brother was ruled out of the game in Kintele with a reported food poisoning.

Ghana coach Kwesi Appiah is expected to name his squad for the qualifier and the friendly in the next coming days.
