CAF President meets Ghana's Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia

CAF delegation led by President Ahmad Ahmad meets Vice President of the Republic of Ghana as part of arrangements in official expedition in Ghana.

The CAF President is paying his first visit to Ghana since he assumed the role of CAF President in March 2017.

Ahmad Ahmad met Mahamudu Bawumia at the Jubilee House in Accra as the two distinguished personalities discussed issues pertaining to African football

Ahmad Ahmad is on official assignment in Ghana with the entourage of the entire CAF Executive Committee.

Other personalities present at the meeting between Mr Ahmad and His Excellency Bawumia are The Sports Minister Isaac Asiamah, Deputy Sports Minister Pius Enam Hadzide, 1st Vice President of CAF and Ghana Football Association President Kwesi Nyantakyi with Ghana Football Association President George Afriyie.

Ahmad Ahmad with his delegation are expected to attend the Alhaji Sly Tetteh Memorial Lectures on Friday evening.

This will be followed by a meeting to be held by the CAF Executive Committee where critical decisions concerning African football will be taken in Accra on Saturday the 23rd of September, 2017

The delegation will then go witness the final of the 2017 WAFU Cup final on Sunday, the 24th of September, 2017 before departing on Monday, September 25, 2017.
