Azam FC terminates contract with the Ghanaian striker

Tanzanian Giants terminate contract with Yahaya Mohammed after a year at the side

The animated striker who last played for Aduana Stars gained prominence when he featured in the 2014 CHAN tournament in South Africa for the Black Stars B team.

Mohammed was signed by for the Tanzanian giants close to a year ago after the 2015/2016 Ghana Premier League season where he helped his former side Aduana Stars to finish second to WA All Stars.

Yahaya Mohammed has been released with the caveat of the side looking to get more get in more talents into the side from their youth system.

Yahaya Mohammed landed a bumper deal to Azam FC which was to see him earn $72,000 a year in three years.

Azam FC are releasing the former OGC Nice striker in order to balance the banks.

Yahaya Mohammed has played for teams like Real Tamale United, Tema Youth, Amidaus Professionals, Kumasi Asante Kotoko, OGC Nice, Al Ittihad and Aduana Stars before joining the Tanzanian Giants in his 10 year career stint.
