Uganda became the first nation to be kicked out of the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Gabon when they suffered a 0-1 defeat to Egypt.

The game was heading to a goalless draw, before an 88th minute late goal from Abdalla El Said gave Egypt a win to boost their chances of progressing to the quarter finals stage of the AFCON.

It was an end to end action with both sides displaying high quality pressing game.

The Pharaohs of Egypt, following the victory are now on four points and a draw against Ghana who have already qualified would see the seven times champions through to the quarter finals of the tournament.
