Ghana conceded four goals in the 2017 AFCON in Gabon-two were from direct freekick and one was scored from a blunder, after a freekick had been taken and the other goal was scored against the run of play.
Avram Grant, who will part ways with the Black Stars when his current contract expires in February ending, thinks that his side could have gone far, if they had defended set pieces well.
''The set pieces really caused us. In the Egypt game we conceded, in the Cameroon game, we also conceded in the Burkina Faso game,'' the Israeli said.
“We could have avoided the set pieces, especially where they happened and that would have changed our story.
