As part of Barclays Ghanas moves to impart in the lives of customers, the Bank held a cocktail event for its affluent customers to discuss about their legacies.

The event brought together affluent and premier customers of the bank across the country.

Speaking at the event, the Director of Retail Banking Nii Amankrah Tetteh expressed his satisfaction at the various heights reached by the bank in the country’s banking sector.

This he believes was achieved by the good customer relationship that Barclays Bank Ghana has with its customers.

Mr. Tetteh further touched on the successes of the Bank and the areas which need improvements, as well as the road map to achieving them.

Meanwhile Director of the Ghana law School Kwasi Prempeh-Eck enlightened the gathering on the key strategic pillars for writing one’s will.

He explains that any person eighteen years or above may in writing and in accordance with the Ghana Will Act make a will disposing of any property which is his or to which he will be entitled at the time of his death or to which he may be entitled thereafter.

No person suffering from insanity or infirmity of mind so as to be incapable of understanding the nature or effect of a will shall have capacity to make a will during the continuance of that insanity or infirmity of mind, he added.

Kwasi Prempeh-Eck further advised the gathering to prepare their wills when younger since making a will does not mean one is about to pass on.

Barclays Bank Ghana’s vision to become the best bank in the country has been valued through its establishment in the 20th century through to this present age.

This year (2017) marks the bank 100th year since it started operating in Ghana
