Black Stars vice-captain Andre Ayew joined English Premier League club Swansea City last summer after being linked with a host of clubs across Europe.

The Ghanaian player whose football talent is undoubtedly one to relish by any club started his Premier League season with a bang, scoring on his debut against the then defending Champions Chelsea.

Fast forward to Swansea City’s Awards night and Andre Ayew was named both the Best New Comer of the Season and joint top scorer alongside Gylfi Sigurdsson with one game to in the Premier League.

The former Olympique Marseille player scored in the last game for Swansea City to go clear on top of the scoring chart at Swansea City as his goal secured a 1-1 draw against Manchester City at the Liberty Stadium.

The club took to their twitter page to congratulated Black Stars vice-captain Andre Ayew for being the top scorer at Swansea City with 12 goals.
