Despite the Phobians exiting the pre-season tournament at the group stage, the Burkinabe shot stopper made some great saves and produced a man of the match performance against Medeama which earned him rousing applause from the fans and the club's board members who were at the Sekondi stadium.

Nasam, who is also the goalkeepers’ trainer of the Black Stars joined Hearts this season after about eight years stay with Medeama and the former Kotoko goalkeeper says Nasam is the reason for his good form.

"I think the form is there because we have a new goalkeepers coach and he is working with us very hardly and by God's grace everything will be ok.

"I think everyone has been seeing the work we are doing at the training ground. Previously I was not enjoying the training but now I can say I am enjoying my training because if you are not enjoying the training you can get a lot of injuries and so many things. You will not be encouraged in yourself and I think his (Nasam)  training is very nice for us" he revealed.

Soulama's personal form might be good but the impression from the club's hierarchy and the fans about the team's struggling performance in friendly matches could spell another doom for the club in the forth coming season. This has put huge pressure on their Japanese-American head coach, Kenichi Yatsuhashi as clarion calls are always made for the coach to be sacked.

Soulama however believes the team is in the building process and will soon take shape. He said "I think we can come good. Anything which starts badly will come good at the end because now we are not thinking about the result, we are thinking to have a team and compete for the league".
