Aiteo has been making headways in African football, having signed a five year deal with the Nigerian Football Federation worth $8.2 million (7.5 million euros) to pay its national team coaches and are the headline sponsors of the African Footballer of the Year awards gala set for January 4 in Accra, Ghana.
According to reports, the Nigerian oil company wants to help develop sports in Ghana and if an agreement is reached the Black Stars will be the second national team to be sponsored by the Company.
