Amartey who shined in the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON), despite, Ghana's disappointing campaign, returned to his English Premier League side and walked straight into the starting line-up to motivate them to an FA victory
The 22-year-old was used in his usual midfield role at Leicester City and his presence brought much stability in the Leicester City team, as Andy King put the Foxes into the lead, but Abdoul Razzagui Camara put the Championship side level, before, Onyinye Ndidi and Demarai Gray won the game for Leicester City in extra-time.
