Andre Ayew has emerged as a target for Chelsea as they look to bolster their attacking options for the second half of the season, it's claimed.
The Swansea striker was recently the subject of a rejected £11m bid from Sunderland according to reports, and the Black Cats are ready to come back with £14m.
But French publication L'Equipe are suggesting Roman Abramovich is inetersted in signing the hardworking midfielder.
Ayew, for the moment, appears disinterested in leaving the club this month, but Chelsea, Leicester and one of the Manchester clubs have all enquired about the player’s availability.
Ayew’s situation in the summer is likely to be entirely different, with Jurgen Klopp remaining a huge admirer of the player from his time at Borussia Dortmund and with Ayew declaring his love for Liverpool on multiple occasions.
