Vice-Presidential Candidate of the Progressive Peoples Party (PPP) has in her first political speech indicated that she is desperate for a change in government, hence her decision to partner the flag bearer for the 2016 elections.

“Change is not going to come by sitting behind my laptop or tapping away at my phone every day expressing my displeasure at what Ghana has become. I actively want to do something about it. So if by this I am now labeled a politician, then that is what I have become,” ” Brigitte Dzogbenuku said.

The former Miss Ghana, Brigitte Dzogbenuku was presented as running mate to the party delegates on Thursday at the party headquarters in Accra.

Dr Nduom earlier hinted that his running mate will be female. He believed his choice will give meaning to an “all inclusive” and “Ghana first agenda”.

Dzogbenuku won the Miss Ghana pageant in 1991. Even though she is a member of pressure group Occupy Ghana, she cannot be described as one who is actively involved in politics.
