Jerome Boateng will be out for six weeks after a successful surgery

Defender Football German champions Bayern Munich Jerome Boateng underwent surgery on Tuesday and will be excluded from training for the next six weeks - confirmed the club doctor Volker Braun.

The player injured chest muscle due to a fall during training and had to be operated on.

The procedure was now carried out by Andreas Imhoff in Munich.
