Wa All Stars, Bechem United make debut African campaigns on Sunday

The two Ghanaian representatives on the African continent will face their opponents on Sunday

Becehm United who have adopted the Accra Sports Stadium as their home grounds for CAF Confederation Cup will face MC Alger, while Wa All Stars will take on Libyan giants Al Ahli Tripoli at the Temale Sports Stadium in the CAF Champions League.

Ghanaians clubs have always found Algerian clubs very tough to break in continental ties, with clubs like Kotoko, AshGold, Medeama all fallen in their trap, so Bechem United need to fight above themselves to see out MC Alger.

Bechem United, despite losing the services of their marksman Abednego Tetteh have brought in Ahmed Toure, who has vast experience and Abdul Bashiru from Dream FC to augment the squad.

Wa All Stars would also ought to put up the sort of performance that won them their maiden Ghana league title, when they come up against the Libyans on Sunday.

Ghanaian sides also find themselves wanting against teams from Libya, hence the Ghana champions should be tactful entering into this tie.
