Edward Mahama to appear at IEA evening encounter
The presidential candidate of the People’s National Convention (PNC) will today (Tuesday) present his vision for governing Ghana if he is voted president in the upcoming elections.
This will be done at the Evening Encounter Series that will be hosted by the Institute of Economic Affair.
The Evening Encounters will give the opportunity to each presidential aspirant to make their vision and plans known to a cross section of civil society. These encounters are prior to the Presidential and Vice Presidential Debates to be held in August.
The IEA explained that Dr. Mahama will be cross-examined by those present at the Encounter after he has presented his vision.
The IEA inaugurated a 10-member Presidential Debate Committee last Thursday to oversee the debates ahead of the general election in November.
The committee is chaired by the former first Vice President of the International Criminal Court (ICC), Prof Akua Kuenyehia.
They have been tasked to organize two presidential debates and another debate for running mates ahead of the general elections.
