At least five people have been confirmed dead in an accident involving a Sprinter Bus travelling from Obuasi in the Ashanti region to the Central region.

The driver of the bus is said to have lost control of the vehicle after the tyre suddenly burst.
About 10 others were injured and are currently receiving treatment at the Winneba Municipal Hospital.
