Chief Fire Officer, Dr. Albert Brown Gaisie reassigned

The Head of the Ghana National Fire Service, Chief Fire Officer Dr. Albert Brown Gaisie has been reassigned to the office of the National Security.

He had previously served as a Regional Commander of the Greater Accra and Ashanti Regions and also served in several capacities in the GNFS as Director of Rural Fires, Director of Research, Development and Monitoring, and the Director in-charge of Operations.

Dr. Gaisie was appointed in the year 2014 following the retirement of Brigadier General John Bosco Guyiri.

DCFO Ekow Blankson is a certified fire engineer with over twenty-five years experience as an operational fire fighter, investigator, safety officer and special fire management experience in Aircraft fire fighting.

Meanwhile, President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has appointed Deputy Chief Fire Officer in charge of Operations, Edwin Ekow Blankson as the acting Chief Fire Officer.
