Zdravko Lugarusic has accused some journalist of twisting his words

Head coach of Kumasi Asante Kotoko, Zdravko Lugarusic has taken a swipe at some journalist for misquoting him.

The expatriate trainer started his Asante Kotoko coaching job with a 2-1 victory over Liberty Professionals, courtesy of new recruit Yakubu Mohammed's brace on Sunday in the opening day of the 2016-17 Ghana Premier League.

Zdravko Lugarusic, during the post-match press conference of the Liberty has hit out at some journalist for their unprofessional behaviour.

''My last word to you the journalists, some of you are not professional. You twist my words and say what I have not said. Please be fair to me,'' Lugarusic said.
