Kotoko sign Kwame Boahene from Medeama

Kwame Boahene has signed a three-year deal with Kumasi Asante Kotoko, after early reports that he went AWOL from the camp of the Tarkwa based side.

The youngster in the company of his manager, Awuley put pen to paper on Wednesday at the secretariat of Kumasi Asante, after a successful medical in the morning.

Representing Kotoko at the brief signing ceremony was Executive Chairman, Dr. Kwame Kyei and four management members namely Operations Director, Ernest Owusu Ansah; Head of Legal Team, Lawyer Kwame Boafo; Administrative Manager, Rose Padmore Yeboah and Accra Representative and Premier League Board member, Thomas Boakye Agyeman.

His signing will put to sleep the speculation regarding his next destination, amidst reports that he went AWOL after Medeama permitted him to travel to Kumasi to exercise his franchise during the December 7 general elections.
