The President of the Republic of Ghana, Nana Akuffo-Addo, who is known to be fan of the Porcupine Warriors has sent his condolence to his idol club, after got involved in a road accident.

Asante kotoko were handed their first league defeat of the second roun against Inter Allies in Accra and on their way  back to Kumasi their team bus ran into a stationery car.

The accident claimed the life of the Equipment Officer of the 23 times champions, Kofi Asare and several other personnel on the bus got injured.

Several tributes have poured in for the club wishing them well and the first gentleman of the land has joined the growing list of sympathisers.

Akuffo Addo took to his Twitter handle to send his profound condolence to the Kotoko family.
