Boadu died in his hotel room in Wa while on the campaign trail. Details of his death are still unknown but reports say he died from electrocution.

The flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Nana Akufo-Addo has sent out his condolences to the family of the late Kwabena Boadu, press aide to Dr Mahamudu Bawumia.

In a series of tweets, Nana Akufo-Addo described the 29-year-old as an “intelligent young man with a bright future.”
The police have begun investigations into the incident.
Meanwhile, Boadu’s body has since been brought down to Accra as Dr. Bawumia leads an NPP delegation to officially inform his family.
