Mubarak Wakaso's debut for Alaves didn't go well

Mubarak Wakaso made his bow for new side Deportivo Alaves in their 1-0 La Liga defeat at Leganes on Friday night

The Ghana midfielder who joined the Victoria-based a month ago lasted 63 minutes as they kicked of the start of the new Spanish Primera Division season.

Wakaso saw yellow card in the 22nd minute after committing a rough foul on Leganes' Guerrero

Gabriel's 24th-minute goal was enough to settle the tie at the Butarque.

Wakaso was signed from Greek side Panathinaikos and will be playing at his sixth Spanish La Liga club.
