La Liga outfit Atletico Madrid have confirmed the signing of Ghana midfielder Bernard Mensah from Vitoria Guimaraes on a five year deal.
The club released a statement on their website which read: "Bernard Mensah is an Atletico Madrid player after an agreement was reached with Vitoria Guimaraes.
"The midfielder is known for his speed and driving with the ball. At 20 he is already a full international for Ghana."
The transfer,reported to have cost Atletico 10 million euros will see the player go on loan to Getafe for his first season.

Mensah came into prominence after a breakthrough season in Portugal that saw him score five goals and also break into Ghana's full national team.
