The Nigerian Presidential mantle has been handed over by Outgoing President Goodluck Jonathan to the President and retired Major General, Muhammadu Buhari.

The election was violent free and the ceremony is successfully ongoing  as Nigeria makes history. Mr. Buhari, a former military ruler, says he is a convert to democracy.

President Buhari defeated Mr. Jonathan- who has been in office since 2010 by 15.4 million votes to 12.9 milliion.
