Bechem United arrive in Algeria ahead of MC Alger clash

Ghana FA Cup champions, Bechem United have arrived safely in Algeria ahead of the second leg of the preliminary stage of the CAF Confederation Cup tie against MC Alger on Saturday.

Bechem United are now in Algeria preparing for their second league fixture of the CAF Confederation Cup prelimary stage against MC Alger on Saturday.

The Bechem United lads have entered into the second leg with a 2-1 advantage in the first leg, hence they would have have to avoid a defeat to progress to the next stage of the competition.

However, Ghanaian clubs have a poor record against Algerian sides in African inter-club competitions. Only Hearts of Oak managed to knockout their opponent from Algeria, but Asante Kotoko, Ashanti Gold, Medeama have all perished in the hands of Algerian outfits.
