Hearts beat Swedru professionals, All Stars thrash Inter Allies

The Phobians got back to winning ways after a run of poor results in the pre-season by beating Swedru Professionals a second division side 1-0 at Swedru on Saturday and Wa All Stars went on rampage to whip Inter Allies by three unanswered goals at the Tema Sports Stadium on Sunday.

Isaac Mensah scored the only goal of the game for Kenichi Yatsuhashi’s side to get them back to winning ways following a 5-0 on aggregate defeat to Al Ahly in Tripoli and a draw and a defeat in the G6.

In Tema, a brace from Abdul Ganiyu Ishmael and Maxwell Baakoh’s goal sealed the doom of Herbert Addo’s outfit by the Wa lads.

However, no date has yet been fixed for the commencement of the Ghana Premier League due to litigations.
