Espanyol keeping tabs on Christian Atsu

Atsu, a winger, is well-known by Espanyol. They wanted him two seasons ago and again last summer, but the player preferred to stay in the Premier League with Bournemouth. However, loan moves to Everton - and then Bournemouth - have forced him to reconsider. The Ghanaian international has not had regularl playing time at either club.

Djilobodji is a central defender who Chelsea signed from Nantes for eight million euros, but he has still not made his first team debut.  He’s strong, left-footed and good on the ball. He also has an offer from Werder Bremen, but Espanyol are hopeful he will choose to move to Barcelona with Atsu.

Meanwhile, the Pericos are also looking to sign another central defender, a striker and, perhaps, a versatile full-back. It’s going to be a busy two weeks in the offices at Cornella-El Pra
