Ghana midfielder is on the radar of the championship side Birmingham
The 32-year-old is without a club after he spent the past six months in the Italian Serie A side Pescara.
Harry Redknapp his former coach at Portsmouth is currently the coach of Birmingham, so he would need the Ghana international to augment his squad ahead of the upcoming season.
Birmingham placed 19th in the 24-club Championship last season.
