In an interview with Ghana Showbiz, the 24-year-old revealed that, "I exercise every single day, I don't have to go to the gym but I make sure I do my sit-ups at home.

Gambian-based Ghanaian actress, Princess Christian Shyngle, known for her curvaceous  figure has been hospitalised with kidney disease, it is suspected a controversial slimming device caused the illness.

Shyngle, who has a 22-inch waist, is known for wearing waist trainers for her hourglass figure.

She shot to fame after her role in "'Why Should I Get Married".

Over the weekend, she announced the news on Instagram, showing her arm hooked up to an intravenous drip captioned: 'Hospital bound… Kidney disease healing mercies oh Lord need your prayers ya'll.'

'I drink my green tea, warm water and lemon every day and I am always on a diet.

'Naturally, I have always been curvy. The slim waist is the result of waist training but the figure is God given".

Many experts have underlaid the harmful effects of wearing waist trainers including, Peter Lemon, an expert personal trainer, who said "waist training can have some serious health risks due to compression such as skin infections, pulmonary problems, kidney issues and lung issues".
