"Don't feel shy if a few people come to your show" - rapper tells new artistes

Multiple award-winning rapper, Edem has advised all up and coming musicians not to give up on their dreams even if their shows are attended by a few people.

His advice comes amidst speculations that one of Medikal's recent shows in the United Kingdom received a low turn out.

According to Edem, who is tirelessly preparing towards his maiden edition of 'Edemfest' scheduled for Friday, November 3, becoming successful in the music business starts with a fan base.

He added that even if a great number of people didn't show up, artistes shouldn't 'feel shy' because their fan base will grow with time.

Edem tweeted: "Music is about building a base...DEAR Artiste don't feel shy if a few ppl come to your show...it would grow with time..."

Edem will be playing Keta in the Volta Region for the first shot come November 3. He will be joined by a big pool of artistes like legendary Hiplife group, VVIP, MzVee, Ebony, Yaa Pono, Manifest, Worlasi, Pappy Kojo Magnom, Kemenya, Medal, Teephlow, Gemini, Kwaw Kese, Article Wan, Pope Skinny, Tinny, Keenly Ice, Agbeshie, Epixode just to name a few.

Celebrated Ghanaian comedian/actor, Lil Win will also be in attendance and will be joined by Starr FM Drive show host, Giovani Caleb.

The Keta High Street will be the venue for Edemfest. It is a free event to the public and starts at 7:00 pm prompt.
