Pharrell Williams will release a children's book inspired by his hit single 'Happy'.
The Grammy Award-winning artist has signed a deal with Putnam Books for Young Readers which will have him release four books, the first of which is inspired by 'Happy'.
The book will be published on September 22 with Billboard reporting that Happy will feature children from around the world "celebrating what it means to be happy."In September 2014 'Happy' was named as the UK's most downloaded track of all time. Data from the Official Charts Company revealed that the song has been downloaded 1.62 million times since its release.
The track, which was used on the soundtrack to the film Despicable Me 2, went to number one upon its release in November 2013.
