Former France forward Mas will call time on his career after helping with Montpellier's bid to complete a Top 14 and European Challenge Cup double.

The team is second in the league, two points behind Clermont, and through to a final of the continental knockout competition against Harlequins next Friday.

Mas has been a stalwart of French rugby for over a decade and made 85 appearances for Les Bleus between 2003 and 2015.

The 35-year-old played at three Rugby World Cups before ending his international career after the 2015 instalment, with his last France appearance coming in the 62-13 defeat to New Zealand in the quarter-finals.
