Cleveland Browns wide receiver Corey Coleman will not need surgery on a broken hand.

Rookie Coleman broke his hand during practice on Wednesday, just days after enjoying a breakout game against the Baltimore Ravens that saw him record five catches for 104 yards and two touchdowns.

After seeing a specialist on Thursday, Coleman is expected to be sideline for four to six weeks.

The Browns lost starting quarterback Robert Griffin III in the season opener with an injured left shoulder. Veteran backup Josh McCown also hurt his left shoulder against the Ravens, with rookie Cody Kessler to start against the Miami Dolphins on Sunday.

Center Cameron Erving suffered a bruised lung versus Baltimore and rookie defensive end Carl Nassib had surgery this week after breaking his hand.
