Kwadwo Asamoah has been named in the Bianconeri team that have travelled to Spain ahead of their UEFA Champiosn League tie against Barcelona on Tuesday.

This will be a rematch of the 2016-17 UEFA Champions League which Juventus trounced the Catalonians 3-0 on aggregate to progress to the final.

Kwadwo Asamoah who wanted a move away from Turin in the summer due to limited playing time was handed a place in the Juventus team that defeated Chievo 3-0 in the Serie A to give him the assurance that he is part of the scheme of things of coach Maximiliano Allegri.

The Ghana international is likely to start for Juventus on Tuesday as they face Barcelona.

Juventus coach Max Allegri will be missing several players from his usual list of names: Chiellini, Mandzukic, Marchisio, Höwedes and Khedira will all miss the match.
