Rev. Ato Kwamena Ghansah launches debut book titled ‘Too Precious To Lose’
The book which published early this year and subsequently launched on April 11, 2021, aims to help people identify, recover and make the best use of the missing pieces of their lives.
It helps the reader evaluate themselves, identify the valuable pieces missing from their lives, identify reasons those pieces are missing and what to do when those pieces are found.
Speaking about the motivation behind the book, Rev. Ghansah said: “I wrote this book in response to an identified need people have, in finding fulfillment and bliss in life, from a christian perspective.
“Humanity is bound to the law of death, science calls it the Law of Entropy. Life points towards the direction of decay and loss. Things don’t get better, they get worse. As a result, we keep losing things all the time. We lose body parts. We lose friends and loved ones.
“We lose precious gifts and time. However, I believe there are certain things, which regardless the law of entropy at play, must not be lost. These things are simply too precious to lose, a singular reason I wrote this book.”
Some themes elucidated in the book include, how monotony (sticking to one routine all your life) can rob people of having great experiences and how through observation alone, people could learn more than they could ever imagine.
