Head coach of the Egyptian national team, Hector Cuper has announced a 23-man squad for the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations to be staged in Gabon
Cúper had named a 27 man initial squad for the national team’s training camp earlier thursday, before trimming it down to 23 on Wednesday to meet the deadline for announcing the final squad.

The four players who couldn't make the cut for Cuper's 23-man squad are Hamada Tolba, Ahmed Gomaa, Mohamed Awad and Mohamed Ibrahim.
