Chelsea have sealed the transfer of Augsburg defender Baba Rahman.

Having seen Brazilian left-back return to Atletico Madrid this month after just one season at Stamford Bridge, Jose Mourinho has splashed the £15.8million from that deal on the Ghanaian defender.

Baba, who is just 21 years of age, has attracted a lot of attention of from a host of leading European clubs after a breakthrough season with in the German top flight last season with Augsburg.

Chelsea have agreed to pay a fee in excess of €25m to sign the former Kotoko left-back, a player Augsburg paid just €2.5m to sign from Greuther Furth a year ago.

And, according to Bundesliga expert and journalist Daniel Busch, Jose Mourinho has moved under the radar to snap up the defender:
