Versatile Ghanaian midfielder Rahim Ayew has expressed his interest in playing for
Ayew two seasons ago had a six-month stint at the club where he helped Asante Kotoko to win the Ghana Premier League.
The former Zamalek midfielder after leaving the Porcupine Warriors have been unattached and in his quest of playing active football has declared his intention of playing for the Kumasi giants again.
“I like Kotoko, I still follow their games, if Kotoko come to me, i will play for them,” Rahim told SportsXtra.
"Kotoko wanted me to be with them for a longer period. I asked them to bring me an offer after my initial season.
“I waited and waited until I received an offer which was same as the one they offered me but this time for two years. If I sign for let’s say 1000 cedis and you want me to stay longer, you have to better the offer. So I advised myself.”
