Michael Osei is expected in Tarkwa over the weekend to conclude talks that will see him become the new coach of Medeama SC.

This is according to Ghanasoccernet.com, who report that the 45-year-old on Wednesday had a preliminary discussion with the club's hierarchy after he watched them in their match day 13 clash against Ashanti Gold in Obuasi.

The former Asante Kotoko coach, it is believed, will replace coach Evans Adotei, who reports say will return to his previous role of technical director for the Mauves and Yellows.

Michael Osei has been out of the job since leaving Kotoko before the start of the current season following the Porcupine Warriors' hiring of Croat coach Zdravko Logarusic.
Medeama are currently 11th on the Ghana Premier League log with 15 points.
