Wa Secondary and Technical School in the Upper West Region has suspended its Senior Prefect for hosting and allegedly harassing female students in his cubicle.

According to Accra-based Atinka FM, the students have written to the management of the school, protesting the decision of the Disciplinary Committee to suspend Kahuntana.
The students say the allegation of sexual harassment against the senior prefect, which resulted in his suspension, was false.
According to them, the senior prefect was with a friend and two girls in his cubicle. The school’s administration was notified and they concluded that the prefect was sexually harassing these girls. This led to the suspension of the senior perfect.

Meanwhile, Pulse.com.gh understands some of the students have written threatening messages on the walls of the school.
Multiple media reports say some of the messages have been cleared by the Senior House Master of the school to prevent public and media attention.
Several meetings are being held in the school to resolve the issue according to the students.
