Bukom Banku quits boxing

The ace boxer has announced his decision to quit boxing in order to concentrate on politics

Bukom Banku is a staunch member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and an advocate of President John Mahama.

The local boxing champion doesn’t hide his feelings for the ruling government and has in recent times taken to bleaching to change his skin colour, so that he would be appointed as the Ghana ambassador to Germany when the NDC government retains power.

But has now announced to quit boxing completely in order to concentrate fully on politics.

“oo I’ve stopped boxing and I’m now a politician. Yes, I want to concentrate fully on my ambassador to Germany job when President Mahama wins the 2016 election,” he told 3FM in Accra.
