SAFA President Danny Jordaan tasks Sundowns to beat Ghana's Medeama

Medeama SC travel to play Mamelodi Sundowns in the CAF Confederation Cup on Saturday

South African Football Association President (SAFA) Danny Jordaan has urged

The two sides will battle each other in the Confederation Cup first leg final play-off with the return fixture in two weeks’ time at the Essipong Sports Stadium in Ghana.

Sundowns were crowned South African champions last Wednesday after thrashing neighbours University of Pretoria 3-0 and they have to put their celebration on hold as they turn their attention on continental football.

“You are the only team left in the CAF competition from South Africa and again want to wish you all the best. Go make us proud by flying the country’s flag high. We hope that your title-winning performance will continue on

“Saturday and spur you on to beat Medeama,” Jordaan is quoted by Kickoff.

Meanwhile Ghanaians side Medeama SC have safely arrived in Pretoria and they are currently lodging at Holiday Inn Express Hotel.
