Ghana’s Confederation Cup campaigners, Medeama SC has departed for DR Congo for their opening group phase fixture against TP Mazembe.

The Ghanaian FA Cup champs face a testing maiden Caf Confederation Cup group stage bout against the Congolese giants
The Tarkwa giants left the shores of Ghana Thursday night with 30-man contingent made up of 18 players, six technical men, three management members and three media men.
The Yellow and Mauves come face to face with a TP Mazembe side that has seen it all on the continent and beyond.
It will be Medeama’s first ever game beyond the playoff stage of a Caf competition.
